Abstract

Despite advances in implantable cardiac defibrillator (ICD) programming, inappropriate ICD therapy remains common. Inappropriate ICD therapy is associated with increased mortality and psychological distress. Careful analysis of stored electrograms (EGMs) can be used to elucidate the mechanism of the arrhythmia and guide therapy.
