Abstract
Same day discharge (SDD) after catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF) may improve patient satisfaction and has become increasingly common. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated adoption of this practice in large part due to constraints on hospital bed utilization. Most of the data on safety of SDD has been limited to cohorts from 1-2 centers and meta-analyses of these cohorts.
