Abstract

FedEx Corporation, in collaboration with the US Department of Energy, Plug Power, and Charlatte America, has rolled out what it calls the world's first zero-emissions, hydrogen fuel cell ground support equipment (GSE). Under a $2.5 million DOE grant, FedEx is operating 15 fuel cell-powered Charlatte GSE units and a Plug Power hydrogen fueling station at the FedEx World Hub at Memphis International Airport in Tennessee.
