Abstract

SummaryRecent coastal erosion has revealed another chalky till above the Lowestoft Till and separated from it by bedded clays and sands. These have shown no evidence of contemporary life and, together with the newly discovered till, are assigned to the Lowestoft Stadial at this the type-section of the Anglian (Lowestoftian) Glacial Stage.
