Abstract
Thank you, colleagues. Last year9s launch of the Academy9s new Della Robbia Club, a club for donors of $250 and more to the Friends of Children Fund (FCF), was a great success. Thanks to more than 460 dedicated fellows and friends who joined the club and more than 1,500 other donors, the FCF annual compaign new significantly. FCF donors have an important role in meeting children9s needs. Since membership dues account for only 25 percent of the Academy9s income, donations to the fund directly underwrite programs that would not be possible without this philanthropic support. Contributions to the FCF annual campaign make the difference between just recognizing a problem and working to solve it.
