Abstract
This paper portrays the PLC Based Factory Automation Interfaced with SCADA. For Industrial Applications. A conventional crane is controlled by wires to connected to one another. The paper presents the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) using SCADA to control all the operations in the overhead crane. The entire operation is performed by implementing the logic in PLC programming and by designing the SCADA control. Automatic type operations provide less manpower and the overall production can be increased significantly. The operation is performed using the ladder programming done in ISPsoft software for DELTA PLC. The magnetic and proximity sensors are used for sensing the positions of the crane in various operating modes. These sensors sensed the overhead traveling crane motion. And the SCADA software used for controlling is DIA view for delta.
