Abstract
This commentary discusses brain reward mechanisms, which are notoriously centered on the mesoaccumbens system, dopamine (DA) transmission, and behavioral correlates of chronic or repeated exposures to stress, such as depressive-like, or more appropriately, coping behaviors.
