Abstract

AbstractPhysical, radiologic, and laboratory findings in 2 brothers with a cartilagenous dysplasia have been presented. The most striking findings were platyspondyly, flattening of the metacarpal and metatarsal heads, and a symmetrical polyarticular osteoarthritis. No β‐2‐globulin was demonstrated in their sera. Two cases in siblings, an otherwise negative family history, and parental consanguinity suggest an autosomal recessive mode of inheritance.
