Abstract

The effect of platinum chemotherapy on fertility outcomes is not well characterized. We tested the hypothesis that platinum chemotherapy causes fewer live births and more infertility in AYA cancer survivors, utilizing novel causal inference methods to appropriately account for competing risks such as death which indirectly decrease outcomes by precluding fertility attempts.
