Abstract

This chapter examines the concept and legal regulation of digital platforms in justice systems in Germany, the European Union (EU), and Kyrgyzstan, as well as their impact on access to justice during the Covid-19 pandemic. Digital platforms for justice systems are becoming increasingly important. This study aims to examine in which cases legal regulation is required for the establishment and operation of the platforms and what significance regulation has using examples of digital platforms for justice in Germany, the EU, and Kyrgyzstan. The study provides recommendations on how to improve legal framework for digital platforms in justice system and lay foundation for supranational legal framework for digital justice platform in Eurasian Economic Union based on the European Unions’ experience.KeywordsDigital platforms in justice systeme-justiceJustice portalJudicial proceedingVideoconferencing
