Abstract

Effect of an inert gas in the vapor on the rectification efficiency of methanol-water and water-acetic acid mixtures was studied. A common equation was used to describe the dependence of the separation efficiency of methanol-water and water-acetic acid mixtures on the content of the inert gas in the vapor.
