Abstract
AbstractThe issue of waste management and the recovery of packaging wastes from the waste stream is currently high on the policy agenda for the EC and for many of the governments of the member states. Nicoloò Giordano outlines Italian policy and experience in the collection, separation and recycling of packaging waste, focusing particularly on the industrial initiatives established to encourage the recycling of plastics.
