Abstract
Abstract The effect of low temperature neutron irradiation on the yield stress of V and Nb single crystals was studied. The temperature dependence of yield stress of V and Nb and also the activation volume in Nb after low temperature irradiation was measured. In contrast to Fe, no radiation softening but only the radiation hardening was observed in V and Nb.
