Abstract
Plasmon scattering by electrons in two laser fields in the additional presence of a strong (quantizing) magnetic field is discussed. A kinetic equation for the plasmon population is derived, from which the damping rate is calculated. We found that plasma waves may be amplified over a relatively narrow range of plasmon wave numbers in the direction perpendicular to the magnetic-field direction
