Abstract

Digital-Resolution Biosensing In article number 2210561, Ting Xu, Yuzhang Liang, Cheng Yang, and co-workers report a plasmon-enhanced ultrasensitive and selective digital-readout imaging immunoassay for microRNA quantification. The microRNA molecules are translated into digitally distinguishable nanoparticle attachment onto a large-area Au-SiO2 bilayer film, forming plasmonic nanocavity enhanced digital spots in dark-field images. Additionally, a convolutional neural network algorithm is developed to assist the digital spot counting of the nanoparticles.
