Abstract
The physical interaction between splenic lymphocytes from mice made immune to Plasmodium chabaudi and syngeneic peritoneal macrophages which had digested P. chabaudi-infected red cells in vitro was studied in an in vitro system. Specific antigen-mediated binding of these sensitized lymphocytes to macrophage membranes was demonstrated, the interaction possibly being an expression of a role for T cells in immunity in rodent malaria.
