Abstract

Concentrations of transcortin binding sites and apparent dissociation constants for corticosterone have been measured in the blood of control and thyroidectomized chick embryos. The levels of corticosterone binding are quantitatively similar in normal and thyroidectomized embryos and vary in parallel during development.
