Abstract
Rationale: Impaired blood glucose level is frequently observed in COPD patients and has been associated with decreased quality of life and increased disease progression. Therefore, we explore metabolic pathways potentially up- or downregulated in COPD in relation to (pre)diabetes to develop new clinical nutrition approaches.
