Abstract

This paper treats an energy management problem using a multilevel optimization approach. Specifically, the problem of coordination of energy among various subsystems are treated. Each subsystem is assumed to be operating at its optimal by the result of lower level optimization. The results of the optimizing coordinator is to set the levels of purchased and generated electricity and to determine the means of powering the dual drives and dual processes.
