Abstract
The Eighth International Conference on Plant Biology Frontiers, organized by Zhenbiao Yang, Chentao Lin, and Xingwang Deng, was convened in the Wuyi Mountain Yeohwa Resort in Fujian, China, 23–27 September 2010. The meeting's main theme was Cells and Signals, featuring four keynote speeches, 45 plenary talks, and over 40 poster presentations that covered a wide range of topics, from dynamic cellular structures to how developmental and environmental signals control various plant processes at the juncture of cells.
