Abstract
Although hundreds of undergraduate students receive library instruction when their instructors arrange for a class tour or bibliographic instruction session, thousands of other students do not. This article describes the planning process that took place in the development of a cross-platform interactive multimedia instruction program designed to be accessible to students with diverse information literacy skills. The author discusses the merits and limitations of several authoring software packages and offers some guidelines concerning time requirements.
