Abstract

Purpose/Objective: Early stage nasopharyngeal carcinoma is a radiosensitive disease with high cure rate. To reduce the radiation dose to the temporal lobes, we have decreased the dose of external radiotherapy (RT) and compensated by stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) boost. The total treatment time was also shortened, providing a potential radiobiological benefit.
