Abstract
A 23-year-old student committed suicide by hanging himself and giving himself an electric shock at the same time. The contents of farewell letters and an examination of the place of suicide showed that complex suicide had been previously planned. This kind of planned complex suicide must be differentiated from others in which the complex way of committing suicide is a result of failure in the first method of suicide or of several methods and in a short period of time.
