Abstract

For about two centuries, the approximate distance of the planets from the sun were theoretically calculated by a numerical relation called ‘Bode's Law'[l]. a= 0‐4 + (0‐3)2n where n = – 8, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4,... However this relationship does not give satisfactory results for n >6. The intent of this paper is to find a new equivalent to ‘Bode's Law’.
