Abstract
This article considers a plant-parallel supersonic flow, with a shock wave terminating within the flow; the shock wave is regarded as a distortion. A line of discontinuity is located ahead of the shock wave in the supersonic zone. The problem is solved by the method of indeterminate coefficients.
