Abstract

This paper describes a planar substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) horn antenna at 94 GHz which is fed through a coplanar waveguide (CPW) structure using an inset feed technique. The dielectric slabs printed on the same substrate are introduced as a matching network between the air and the proposed structure. The overall size of the antenna is 40 × 20 × 0.59 mm3, The radiation efficiency of the simulated antenna is 77.25% having a gain up to 7.62 dBi at the desired frequency band.
