Abstract
Ultrahigh Fermi Velocities It is appealing to seek 2D Dirac materials with unique structures and intriguing properties. In article number 2200326, Xiaodong Lv, Fengyu Li, and co-workers predict planar 2D Dirac ZnN4 and CdN4 monolayers. Their first-principles calculations demonstrate that the two monolayers both exhibit high stability and an anisotropic Dirac cone at the Fermi level. Particularly, these Dirac fermions present ultrahigh Fermi velocities, and the Dirac cone is robust against external strains and electric fields.
