Abstract
In view of the low protective performance of traditional masks and the environmental crisis caused by waste masks, it is urgent to develop a mask with excellent filtration efficiency and long-term stability and green environmental protection. In this paper, we successfully prepared a polylactic acid (PLA) micro/nano composite filter fiber membrane for the mask filter layer by combining melt-blown spinning and electrospinning. By adjusting the electrospinning time, we studied the morphology, filtration performance, thermal management performance and other comprehensive properties of the composite fiber membranes. The results show that the prepared composite fiber membrane can achieve a filtration performance of 97.06% for PM0.3 when providing a favorable pressure drop of 77.61 Pa. The preparation method of mask filter element in this paper is simple, green and environmentally friendly, it has great potential in the field of personal protection and in solving the environmental impact caused by traditional non-degradable masks.
