Abstract
Using specific biological assay procedures FSH and LH excretion was measured in 2 normally menstruating young subjects before during and after administration of megesterol acetate from Days 5 to 25 of the cycle. Urinary excretion of total estrogen was also estimated. The laboratory data and the results of the preliminary clinical trial regarding the reproductive performance of the subjects are discussed.(FULL TEXT)
