Abstract

In the USSR as well as in other countries large cryogenic helium systems (CHS) with refrigerating capacity up to i00 kW are at present constructed for the cooling of superconducting devices to 4.2 K. In the process of devising CHS it is indispensable to ensure their high effectiveness while matching the operating regimes of the CHS with the operation of the superconducting devices [2]. The principal component elements of CHS are cryogenic helium devices (C}ID), i.e., liquefier and refrigerator or liquefying refrigerator.
