Abstract
Significant savings in operating costs have been made at North West Water's Belmont Sewage Treatment Works (STW) in the UK, following a decision to revert to the use of purpose-manufactured hoses and lubricants for two Watson-Marlow Bredel SP50 heavy-duty peristaltic pumps on sludge transfer duties.
