Abstract

This study addressed Digital Education, investigating trends, practices and challenges related to this area. The central problem was the need to understand how digital technologies shape education and how they can be integrated effectively. The general objective was to analyze the current state of Digital Education. The methodology involved a literature review and analysis of practical examples. The results indicate an evolution in Digital Education, with the integration of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, personalizing teaching. Active methodologies, such as the Flipped Classroom, are also gaining prominence. However, digital and social inclusion remains a challenge, due to a lack of access and infrastructure. Curricular adaptations are necessary to take advantage of the potential of technologies. To this end, Digital Education is promising, but complex. Digital inclusion and creative use of emerging technologies are essential. This study contributes to the understanding of these dynamics and offers insights for future research.
