Abstract
Pion rapidity and transverse momentum distributions obtainable in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions are calculated in a three dimensional relativistic fluid - dynamical model. Two Equations of State were used in the calculations, one with, and the other without a phase transition to Quark - Gluon Plasma. The transverse momentum distributions are sensitive to the phase transition, while the rapidity distributions are not.
