Abstract

Based on the fully dressed confining quark propagator, the piondecay constant fπ, local quark vacuum condensate, and themasses of light quarks and in-medium Goldstone bosons areinvestigated. The pion decay constant fπ is predicted andcompared with its value of experimental measurement. A greatagreement is obtained. With the predicted fπ and values ofGoldstone boson masses measured by experiments in freeconfiguration the current masses of light quarks and the masses ofin-medium Goldstone bosons are obtained.
