Abstract
Recently it was pointed out that coherent or condensated states of pions may account for the explanation of the Centauro events observed in cosmic ray showers. We argue that an occurence of condensed pions requires that the system evolves far out of thermal equilibrium. Besides an unusual charge ratio distribution we show that such a produced state also would lead to strong isospin correlations.
