Abstract
We calculate the $\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\Sigma}\ensuremath{\Lambda}$ and $\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\Sigma}\ensuremath{\Sigma}$ coupling constants in light cone QCD sum rules for the structure ${\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{\ensuremath{\alpha}\ensuremath{\beta}}{\ensuremath{\gamma}}_{5}{p}^{\ensuremath{\alpha}}{q}^{\ensuremath{\beta}}.$ A comparison of our results on these coupling constants with the predictions of SU(6) symmetry is presented.
