AbstractElectricity (MIC: 7.1 SIC: 4911 NAIC:221121)Pinnacle West Capital is a holding company that operates in two segments: regulated electricity and real estate. Co. owns all of the outstanding equity securities of Arizona Public Service (APS), its key subsidiary. APS is a vertically‐integrated electric utility that provides retail or wholesale electric service to most of the state of Arizona, with the major exceptions of about one‐half of the Phoenix metropolitan area, the Tucson metropolitan area and Mohave County in northwestern Arizona. Co.'s other key subsidiaries are SunCor, which is engaged in real estate development and investment activities, and APS Energy Services, which provides energy services and products in the western U.S.
