Abstract

The goal of this database is "to include citations to all literature on PTSD, without disciplinary, linguistic, or geographical limitations, and to offer both current and retrospective coverage." It is available on the Dartmouth College Library Online System. There is no fee or password. Users need only a computer, modem, telephone line, and communication program such as<i>CROSSTALK, MICROPHONE, PROCOMM</i>, or the communications component of<i>WORKS</i>. Access is gained as follows: Set terminal, modem, and/or communications software to 8 bits, no parity, full duplex and baud rate to 300, 1200, or 2400. Start up communications software. Dial (603) 643-6310 (or, if using Internet, telnet to lib.dartmouth.edu). After the connection is made, press the return key several times. At: Kiewit Network, Dartmouth College [etc] @ type: c lib Following the welcome message at the arrow prompt type: <h3>SELECT FILE PILOTS</h3> and the connection will be established.
