Abstract
The scientific article examines the possibilities of using industrial photovoltaic solar stations in power supply systems in the regions of Turkmenistan. Based on the calculations of solar radiation in the regions of Turkmenistan, data on the technical potential of renewable energy sources were obtained. The criteria for evaluating the rational mode of operation of photovoltaic solar stations and the expected amount of electricity generation by solar panels are determined. Pilot projects of energy supply to the population through solar power plants are considered.
