Abstract

This paper outlines a pile-up rejection live-time correction unit designed for precision γ-ray spectrometry in the Hungarian National Office of Measures (OMH), its measuring values obtained, future development concepts and some comments on testing units like that. The time resolution of the unit is 300 ns, which is an energy independent value. The minimum detectable energy is ∼ 15 keV.
