Abstract

was poorer in the RT group with prostate cancer vs the general prostate cancer population, RT patients receiving surgery had a disease specific survival similar to that of the general prostate cancer population regardless of whether surgery was carried out before RT (p1⁄40.221) or after RT (p1⁄40.924). A similar finding was present in patients who were treated with EBRT. CONCLUSIONS: Immunosuppressed RT patients have been treated with surgery and EBRT in equal fashion. Patients receiving no therapy was very low. Type of therapy had no impact on survival and was similar to that of the general prostate cancer population.
