Abstract

A ten-year-old boy presented with progressive blurred vision in his left eye for 1 year. The best corrected visual acuity was 20/20 and 20/100, respectively, in the right and left eyes. Slit-lamp examination showed a posterior lenticonus in the left eye with pigment inside the lens capsule (Figure 1A). Anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT, CASIA2, Tomey Corporation, Japan) revealed posterior lenticonus surrounded with well-defined high reflective substances (Figure 1B). Fundus photograph showed normal optic disc and the macular area was obscured by lens opacity (Figure 1C).
