Abstract
An asymptomatic 19-year-old female presented with an incidental vitreous cyst noted on an eye examination by her optometrist. Her visual acuity was 20/20–1 OD and 20/25 OS. Her intraocular pressures were 19 mm Hg OD and 16 mm Hg OS. Posterior segment examination was normal except for a 1.5-disc-diameter round pigmented translucent lesion floating in the vitreous (Fig. 1; Video 1, available online). The patient endorsed a persistent floater since childhood and had grown up on a farm. Her bloodwork revealed eosinophilia and positive Echinococcus serology.
