Abstract
Note that we can label parts and put them into storage bins for easy access. The major analogy in talking about classifying is how we sort the mail. Mail has a mailing address so it can be directed to the proper box. Note that a filing system is based on different sets of attributes that allow us to store or access things with those specific attributes. Essentially, comparisons allow us to classify, to identify, and to locate. Such processes whereby we do diese sorts of tasks are essentially just nominally position locators. They are pigeonholes with addresses. And on computers they are files and folders. And there is no end to how we use our imaginations to create names for files in our filing systems. And note how useful both cardinal and ordinal numbers are to name and locate anything within a system of codes. Note how locating things with attributes is the value of language defined by a code.
