Abstract
This elderly woman had complained of irritation, scaling, soreness and occasional weeping of the right nipple for nearly a year. Initially, she had applied some 1% hydrocortisone cream in an attempt to allay her symptoms. However, the problem did not settle and by the time she sought help, the whole of the nipple and areola were affected and the normal appearance destroyed.
