Abstract
Preliminary results of an experiment on double-pion photoproduction with spark chamber and counter techniques below 1 GeV are reported. Proton angular and ($p,{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$) invariant-mass distributions at fixed ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ momentum are given. Comparison with the expected values computed by the isobaric model are shown.
