Novel drug delivery system (NDDS) is an innovative approach to drug delivery that addresses the limitations of the traditiona l drug delivery systems. If the novel drug delivery system is applied in herbal drugs, it should facilitate in increasing the effic aciousness and reducing the side effects of various herbs.
