Abstract

From the pods of Cassia laevigata three flavonoids, 3,5,3'–trihydroxy–7,4'–dimethoxy flavone–3–0–β–D(+) galactopyranoside, 3,5–dihydroxy–7,3',4'–trimethoxy flavone–3–O–β–D(+) galactosyl–O–β–D(+) galactopyranoside and quercetin, have been isolated and studied.
