Abstract

The study is devoted to the topical issue of physiological justification for the use of various methods for relaxation of masticatory muscles in a state of hypertension in individuals engaged in strength training. Data are presented on a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of the effects of the following deprogramming devices on the masticatory muscles: “Aquasplint”, muscle relaxation mouthguard and transcutaneous electrical neurostimulation, according to electromyography of the masticatory muscles and Dopplerography of the superficial temporal arteries. The predominant physiological effectiveness of using a stabilizing mouthguard and transcutaneous electrical neurostimulation as a method of targeted impact on the tone of the masticatory muscles has been established.
