Abstract

1. 1. The average copper content of the blood is 10·3 mg/100 ml blood. 2. 2. The oxygen capacity of the blood is 1·82 vol. %. 3. 3. The half-saturation tension is 16·5 mm Hg and the saturation tension is 40 mm Hg at 30°C and pH 7·3. 4. 4. There is a normal Bohr effect from pH 10 → 8 and a reverse Bohr effect from pH 8 → 6. 5. 5. The carbon dioxide content of the blood is 11·67 vol. %.
